About us

Breast Cancer Research and Support Fund is a special project of Community Charity Advancement which provides funding for breast cancer research, educational information, treatment supplies, and support to breast cancer patients and survivors. We believe that some day soon, research will produce a cure for this life-changing disease.

The board members of the Breast Cancer Research and Support Fund are individuals who are passionate about and dedicated to working toward eliminating breast cancer.

Meet Our Board

President: Kerry Sharon

As a nurse, Kerry experienced the devastation of Breast Cancer, not only to the patient, but also to the families of those physically suffering. Over the last several years, she has donated her time to assisting those suffering from terminal disease. Kerry also holds a 215 insurance license, is an advocate for autism, dementia, and animal abuse. Her personal goals are to assist and comfort those that are victims of cancer, and more importantly, find a cure so our future generations will no longer be confronted with the horrific devastation of cancer.

Board Member: Carole Reich

Carole was employed at Aurora Healthcare one of Wisconsin's largest N.F.P. organizations for 13 years. Carole and her husband took an early retirement and moved to a small rural town in central Wisconsin. Carole has volunteered her time to many organizations locally including tutoring children to aiding the elderly. As a Master Gardener she has also helped with the beautification of the area. Carole is now a cancer survivor since May 2014.

Board Member: Lindsey Novinich

Lindsey resides in central Florida with her husband and daughter. For 15 years she has been a Senior account executive for behavioral health and employee assistance programs with the nations oldest insurance carrier. In 2013 Lindsey was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Over the next year she endured the discomfort of chemo,radical surgery and extensive reconstruction almost always with a smile and open hand to help others. Also, Lindsey is an advocate for well-being, a certified vinyasa flow yoga instructor plus active with her daughters Girl Scout troop and school PTA and School Advisory board. Lindsey is currently cancer free.
